Hmm what's the difference between this and aikido? Honestly I don't know, please enlighten me.

@rimidalvetarak it's aikido if you will, but practiced within Christian Martial Arts Association. So it has Christian based philosophy which differs a lot from traditional aikido with her Shinto/Buddhists roots and ceremonialism. We do not call it though a Christian-aikido evoiding conflict, but Yeshua-Do, to emphasize the difference.

Don't we have all kinds of people fighting in the bible, including people fighting (and killing) lions with their bare hands or something? Why does everyone think we're completely against violence? We're not all hippies.

@HalcyonAugust2 - Jesus was against any kind of evil. He himself fought against it, and even threw out from the temple with a whip in his hand those who desecrated. He was against the darkness, sin, and even death itself and overcome it. That’s the biblical pattern for a Christian to follow. The words you’ve quoted have a different meaning, but you will find the answer by reading NT. “The sum of Your Word is the Truth”.

@HalcyonAugust2 - yes, Christianity is about love. But do you think people cannot protect what do they love and stay passive or vulnerable for an assault?
