I thought that Crank was gripping because it was so hilarious, & hilarious because it was so relentless, & relentless because it was so gripping. It was a beautiful circle of life.
Then Crank High Voltage came along and it was just another over-indulgent, over-the-top, stupid, crass, annoying, boring, careless, crude, cash-in, sequel-stereotype, bullshit, shit-munching, fucked-up, fuck-fest, foolish, flubber-monkey of a movie.
I'm not sure why this is but it is. Deal with it.

As a fan of the Transporter series, Kermode clearly understands that and clearly was trying to judge it for what it is. Sorry if you can't appreciate that fact.

Fuck you Kermode, Crank was fucking awesome. Crank High Voltage was just as awesome too. Both movies aren't meant to be taken seriously!! They aren't documentary's dipshit! They are insane action set-pieces strung together set to great music. It's basically like Grand Theft Auto and if you can't have fun with it, get another job. Assclown.
