With just under 5 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Auburn faced a 3rd and goal from the Rebels' 5 yard line. Moseley threw a short pass to Lutzenkirchen, who had to twist around to his right to catch the ball thrown behind him. Lutzenkirchen made the catch one-handed and stretched the ball in front of him as he dove over the goal line for the score.
