Welcome to a new resource with information on the issue of anesthesia awareness, the rare -- but real -- risk of surgery that occurs when a patient under general anesthesia stays or becomes conscious during surgery but can't move or talk because paralytics are in effect.
Skeet, She was awake while her eye was removed during surgery. When she woke up after the surgery she was screaming "I was awake." I can't imagine anything more terrifying, but what is with the upbeat after school special music?
I am going for a doctors appointment for my condition having gynecomastia in my left breast area. It's embarrassing considering that I am a guy. I am also scared though after reading several articles based on the subject video above. I really fear that something like this could happen to me during surgery. Even more fearful is feeling the pain in the surgical area.

@derekmorris89
you should ask to talk to the person whos going to give you the anesthesia
and ask if they are known by the surgeon and if they are experienced to get some peace of mind
i hope everything goes well :)
