This is part of a blog on the repair of a poorly (factory) painted Corsica. You can see the whole blog at www.refinishnetwork.com . What you are seeing here is marhyde paint stripper (tal-strip) ripping the top layer of paint off of this car.

  • most of it scrapes off, you still need to sand a fair amount off.

  • My car has good paint, some ding here and there, and some scratches. Id like to paint it a different color. do i need to use stripper? or can i use 1200 grit for the whole car and then use the new base color? help pls
