I wanted to let everybody know this issue was taken care of. Even though they did not crack, I too did not like how close the screws were to the sides, so all future models have an additional 1/16" on each side to remedy this issue.

Do you know what length CCL I would need to deconstruct to get a bulb for a 250? Would an 8" CCL be the best option?

Hey Daz can you change the CCL to other colors or are we stuck with UV?

Not from FQ directly , but you can break CCFL external tube yourself and use light from it as replacement. Can be tough task as they glued pretty well.

yes and you don't even need to disassemble reservoir for that.
