Solo of deep purple child in time by ted's, my favorite music, ritchie blackmore a monster of rock ! but steve morse too in deep purple, two different styles but two talent ! deep purple forever ! and i went the 20 march at rouen to see my bands ! so ... good ! i want that this band stay please !! ^^ its so... godband, talent, unbelievable !!

How Ritchie Blackmore, Deep Purple, and Rainbow aren't in the R&R Hall of Fame is beyond me. They'll induct the likes of Madonna, U2, and R.E.M., but no mention of some of the most influential musicians in the history of Rock. Go figure.

In your first rant to me you described DP as the best band in the world..I wouldn't argue with that, but now you're saying that Ritchie " forgot " part of his solo, then suddenly remembered and stuck his finger in the air..crap.

It's well documented that they used hand signals on stage, just because you haven't bothered to read anything about the band.

Ritchie did the same with Rainbow too.

Dp worked out an elaborate series of signals to say whether they going to a solo, or changing tempo etc...and he may have had his eyes closed, but I could as long as i knew your general direction I could flip a middle finger to you with my eyes closed, not difficult..also..Ritchie rarely played the same solo note for note.
