Which tuning is being used here?

Banjo is seriously the best sounding blues instrument. It's got the blues tone and then the country twang to it. I love it!

Thanks so much for posting this. I started teaching myself the banjo intending more or less only to learn blues on it.
There is a bunch of videos out there that touch the subject but this has a bunch of great shots on it! specially with the slide.
Sounds mean and pure delta. I love it. thanks!

Nice one - very helpful. Banjo's the true delta accent! whether a blues or hoe down, Afro-Americans played them all over, till the cheap factory stella guitars took over. record comps later decided that folks didn't want to hear black country string players, so fiddlers and banjoists suffered, and were forced to give up. style was nearly lost, but the banjo is the root man-made device for Afro-American folk music and is re-emerging. reclaim the banjo!

I never thought of it that way, that the banjo is a pure delta sound. That makes total sense. The banjo is one of the most underrated instruments.
