Sort of armour, it has pauldrons ;D
Anyway, it a basic Skyrimy costume, kind of a villager/warrior/necromancer, with the peasant shirt and dark cloak and all...
In time it will either have additions or replacements.

@Comp1337e To be honest, I have no idea. Adam found it in the bowels of an antique shop (yeh, we visit there a lot). I personally just think it's just a very strange claymore...
