  • Absolutely! My girl Lalah made an already classic song into a NEW classic for a whole other generation of listeners. Not many vocalist can pull that off. Lalah did her thang on that joint, foreal!!

  • yes, i agree..especially with Lalah Hathaway's version of "love's holiday".

  • sorry, ( to piggyback 'Bentfmily') but this cacophony just an injustice. But I'm just that partial to EWF.

  • The C.D was ok.... I feel that artist from Earth's prime days should have been featured(Al Green, Stevie Wonder, etc). I guess Maurice wanted a today's artist sound to it. I felt the artists came a little weak on the songs though(Chaka khan, Dwele, Musiq, Mint Condition). However I think these artist are great in their own right. Mint condition for example is a Greater live band than they're in the studio. If you haven't seen them live, your not going to really understand what I'm saying!

  • Mint Condition... did a ok job, but they are a much better live band than studio band... If you haven't checked them out live your really not going to understand what i'm talking about!

  • Amazing and wonderfull cd!

    Excellent arrangements and sound ...

Lovely interpretations of dwele and meshell ... in fact every did a great job with earth wind and fire songs

  • I am with you felliniflex!EW&F is one of the best bands on this Earth!and the LORDS OF FUNK and the R&B!not even my niggers brothers of HEATWAVE they get to be like they!the SH!T,simply i love them!HIP-HOP brothers doing tribute to brothers!very COOL and FANTASTIC tribute for one of the best bands of the 70´s!

  • An excellent tribute to the best band in the world...

  • long overdue album. this is one of the best tribute albums i've ever heard.

  • A fitting tribute to a wonderful man and a wonderful band. EWF was and is one of a kind.
