The Best Dazzle DVC 100 Quality on Youtube

Watch at 720p. I'm highly confident that this is the best looking Dazzle footage on Youtube. If not, please go ahead and link me to a video you think looks better in the comments.

This was captured with my Dazzle DVC 100 in VirtualDub with the Lagarith Lossless codec, and was captured at 720x480 from my PS3.

Anyways, I was roaming around Youtube one day and came across dozens upon dozens of Dazzle quality test videos, and most, if not all of them had "HD PVR" in the title or description, meaning that to the uploader, it looks to be as good as true HD footage from a PVR, Blackmagic Intensity series or some such other HD capture device. So I thought, "well, this is strange", and so, my epic voyage to make a Dazzle quality test, this time, at 720p began.

With a little wizardry (and AviSynth scripts), I was able to get this. Hopefully Youtube doesn't molest my video with it's creepy bitrates and icky compression methods too much.

DUDE! this is amazing quality! can you make a small tutorial please? my Dark Souls recording come out kinda fuzzy and certain stuff on the screen like the soul counter on the bottom right is unclear and hard to see. This is amazing and I'm jealous lol

@TheOfficialThinWall Sorry, I don't think I'll do a tutorial. No one would understand what I do because I encode my videos by scripting. The least you can do is use S-video cables and record with HuffYUV or Lagarith lossless codecs with Virtualdub.

@XBladenoJutsu Is it based on Gyroshot's SD to HD tutorial for Avisynth, I just noticed they're very similar to the settings you specified. I'm interested now as my HD DVR records component PS2 games Interlaced, that may result to me experimenting a little bit more for SD content.
