JQ: 1,000 Global Warming scientists are all "skewing the facts" and fudging the data to push a political agenda and therefore can not be trusted, but a few fringe scientists funded by Big Oil and the coal industry are selfless noble researchers deserving of our trust. Am I reading you correctly?

On stats: There are lies and there are statistics. Anyone can bend a poll to their liking.

The problem is the stats you quote are VERY much in the minority and come from some VERY questionable sources, whereas the data you reject is very much agreed upon in the scientific community with more than a substantial amount of research to support it.
But who you trust is not the issue. It's the magnitude of the GAMBLE you are willing to take based upon such questionable sources. If the GW Community is wrong, what do you lose? If you're wrong, what do you lose then?

Its a problem to be sure, but not one that trumps AIDs, malaria, poverty or MORE SEVERE problems the world faces. Emotional knee jerks reactions have been responsible for some of the worst catastrophes in history.

Global warming is real, but not your version of global warming. Sea levels will not rise 20 feet as Al Gore predicted, the IPCC predicts instead a 1 ft level rise over the next 50 years, manageable. NASA states that solar output has been increasing .05% each decade. Mars is seeing global warming, do they have SUVs there? I reject the shear fanaticism and alarmism over global warming.
