There are two different ways to add windows to your SketchUp model so that they will be recognised by IES's analysis tools, this video outlines them.

  • can you please confirm whether i need to draw in internal doors when making my model, prior to using the IES toolbar. Obviously doors will have a different u-value than partition walls so this suggest it may be necessary. If so, would i just draw all doors in and then edit the construction properties at a later date? Are there any other details such as opacity etc that would need to be changed?
