  • Great job HSUS, those raccoons are gorgeous! As well as the otters. Beautiful job, and it's a great way to turn something negative into something positive. I hope in the future, NO animals will ever be killed for their fur

  • I'm a vegatarian, but I recomend free-range meat. It may be more expensive but it's less cruel then buying meat from animals living in far more horrible conditions, plus it's cleaner.

  • @astridkitty1212 umm.. how do you know they were killed by a quick shot to the head? were you there? most likely they were skinned alive... you make me sick

  • This is adorable/sad/unreal how these animals are treated to make fur items, agreed. BUT how about we give those coats to humans in need. Just sayin.

  • Does anyone know if we have such a program in Europe? I recuperated an old rabbit fur coat and would really like to give it the same purpose!

  • I am not against wearing fur altogether. All those fur coats are cruel, but I have pelts from a coyote, fox and mink that were living in the wild and killed by a quick shot to the head. I wear them like Indians do with glamour but also respect for their souls. I enjoy my fuf!

  • I am not against all wearing of fur. I wear pelts from a coyote, mink and Arctic fox who were each running around in the wild and were killed by a quick shot to the head. Having six inhumanely produced fur coats is cruel, but as someone who studies Earth religion I like my fur!

  • I live in a very rich city and see real fur coats where I work most everyday. I always ask what it's made of, just to see if they have even thought of what animals died. And boy do they get upset. Rabbits, foxes and minks died, but it's okay if they suffered in a mill first. It's okay if it's an old coat. I wear leather, because I eat cow. That's a food process (and a use of what would be wasted). But the barbarism and egotism that comes from fur-less humans flaunting their money just upsets me.

  • Wow, she supports killing animals, and then helping them?! She only cares for them so one day she can wear them. -.-

  • this is great!
