The Q is a source of sayings made by Jesus (If you look at Matthew and Luke they both use the same sayings several times where Mark and John dont) which we haven't found yet, but many scholars now agree that Matthew and Luke had an unidentified source for their gospels as well as Mark's gospel. We call the unidentified source 'the Q source.'

Predecessors were based on Adam's Messiah so you better go back further. Also, the "Q", which must be the Quran, was written 600 years after Jesus. Paul was as early as 40-70 years after.
