  • mad cow disease can also happen when a mad cow disease infected cow bites you, spreading those horrible germs into you, can intentionally make you into a zombie in a way

  • @anapao89 Actually, aside from the states, a lot of countries don't treat their livestock with as much hormones/antibiotics. Their animals are a lot closer to the farm than the factory. We started introducing hormones when we started having to kill cows younger, because of this disease. So it's just the opposite. But I agree, again, at least in the states, a lot of vital facts about our food are covered up because Corporations just have so much power.

  • @Azated2 Agreed. Death from human stupidity is a bigger epidemic than Mad Cow Disease. However the disease IS very common in cows. It's why they're killed so young. Currently, I think cows can only be used for meat if they don't get any older than about 18 months. It's also why we use growth hormones on cattle, because consumers like big steaks, and you can't get that on such a young cow. :P Anyway, it's not like we should stop eating beef, just an interesting fact.

  • Less than 200 deaths in 15 years? Yeah, that's not an epidemic. That's less than the amount of people dying each week from choking on spoons.

  • me want STEAK after watching this!!!!!

  • Like 'Contagion' from animals. And real. Yikes

  • Song name: Sigur Rós: Í Gær
