Andy and I shoot the final series of the speed light series. We actually do a live shoot with a model. Then we cover the technique at the end and the website.

  • Just found your channel today and have been going through the vids. Thanks for posting, you guys are helping me to bring back more fun to shooting.

One request I have is if when doing your shoots, can you quickly reference your settings - shutter speed, ISO, aperture, flash outputs? I have been shooting iTTL with my D300 but as mentioned in your video, there's a lack of consistency, so I'd like to start playing around with manual more.

  • naming69. Thanks for watching!!! Yeah iTTL sucks FOR US!!! Some people swear by it..and I just swear at it!! Manual is so much better FOR US!!

All the technical data of every photo along with a shooting diagram can be found on our website check it out!!

  • "It's like fire under her ass"

  • 6:37 lmfao!!!

  • defo a golden hour of the day in the summer which starts at around 6:30 pm sunset otherwise the sun is too bright to use flash and you'll have problems shooting ..... unless you have pocket wizards but then they arnt powerful enough to over the sun at its peak so the golden hour starts around half six

  • next time you do a video cut out the offensive words out.

  • Great Work

  • Good video covering the basics some nice end result shots too well done !

  • Great shots! I love all of them. Question... where exactly did you position the soft box for the red garage shot? (you mentioned which way you would face it but not where you positioned it) Cheers :)

  • You guys are awesome!!! im watching this backwards for some reason 6-1 LOL Im new to lighting ... Im confused how to get the correct exposure with multiple flashes..
