My memories of Donington 1988 are the smells of stale beer & mud & the hordes of girls in snow wash jeans & Guns 'n' Roses t-shirts surging forward as soon as Megadeth left the stage! When me & my mate reached Derby Station the following morning & phoned home & we found out that two kids had died everyone we told in the station was fucking gobsmacked - given the amount of mud there was near the front it wasn't really surprising, but when you're a teenager you don't think that way. RIP, lads.
