  • Even if u can figure out that the bolts are partially threadless, it is tricky because those are not lined up with the edges. A trial and error procedure is a must, because you can't tell where the threadless areas are located. Fun game though after some hours of poking with a pen and trying everything else ;)

  • Hanayama is insane for ranking this a level 6. The H&H is a 5 and takes a lot more effort. This really seems like a 3 or 4 at best. Trial and error will eventually get this one done. The Quartet or even Elk is far harder. It's not really "easy" but it's in no way in the same league as the rest of the 6's.

  • Don't u have to put the "s" in case on the little line things????

  • @AvatarIroh

I have used enough normal nuts and bolts to say that you need to unwind it, sometimes this needs a little or a lot of force, But you should try jiggling the two bolts and seeing while jiggling you can reset the thread. Forcing it does not garentee your puzzle will ever work again it often tears the thread on the real nuts.

  • Hey I havent solved mine yet.... i actually havent watched the video yet....but one of my bolts is crooked....and i cant spin it....do you know anything about that?

  • i had the same thing happen to me as specoflint.

not the best way to solve this puzzle.

  • I did exactly what you did in the video, but one of my nuts got cross threaded in the process. Guess they made mine on a Friday at 4:00. No matter what I do now, I can't get the nut to turn at all and so the puzzle is now in a landfill.

  • I had a theory it was something like this, but my mistake was that I assumed the thread gaps would be perfectly lined up with the edges. I tried every edge-to-edge combination, with little progress. This really helped! Thanks!

  • knew it just didnt think it was right, the only other way is to jump threads which would wreck it. so i was a bit leary really appreciate the solution

  • where did u get it
