In God, Greek thespians Hepatitis and Diabetes struggle to craft an ending for their play in time for the Athens drama festival. Realizing their lives are a play within a play, things spiral out of control until God makes an unanticipated entrance.

Death is the story of Kleinman, a man conscripted by a vigilante mob to help find a murderer. Wandering the nighttime city streets with no understanding of the mob's plan, Kleinman eventually realizes the killer may be closer than he thinks.

In addition, a panel discussion will occur on August 17th at 7pm prior to the 8pm performance of GOD and DEATH. Special wine and cheese reception will precede event.

Speakers to include:
Jerry M. Ruhl, Executive Director of The Jung Center

Bill Parsons, Associate Professor at The Department of Religious Studies at Rice University

Nicholas Collins, Director of Production GOD and DEATH

  • I saw the pair of plays last night. Well done. As I mentioned to the "talk back" group after the performance, the first one, to me, was more about the difference between real and not real than about "god". A la Tom Stoppard.

"Death" was happily more entertaining that the reviews indicated. The lead actor was amazing, maybe better than Woody himself playing that role (altho its not clear if he ever did).

    Good job by all.
