is this stuff difficult to apply? I was interested in something like this before because I always thought it had some type of adhesive backing. Then I read you need to spray a chemical solution during the installation process, and so I decided I didn't want to deal with that.

Please tell us, will the film filter out the window reflections that show on an infrared night vision camera ?

That is an interesting question. We have films that will block 90%+IR. If you want a sample, send me an email with your address to info@apexfilms.ca The only way to know for sure is to see it for your own eyes.

Do you have the reverse? I want to buy window films that block out the light, but don't block all the heat.

@LadyRoxxAnn - Many auto tints are good for this. They are very dark, but are not very good at blocking heat.

@TintDepot - We have even better IR films now available. The new generation are photo-chromatic like transition sun glasses. They will darken slightly in bright light when they are needed most and block very little light the rest of the time.
