Danson Mungatana resigns

An Assistant Minister for Health Danson Mungatana has resigned from Government. Mungatana, a strong ally of former Justice Minister Martha Karua resigned a day after she quit government citing frustrations. Mungatana who belongs to Martha Karua's Narc Kenya party says he can not serve in a government that is obstructing reforms. He resigned as the Gichugu MP made a triumphant entry to her constituency one day after quitting the government where she launched a scathing attack on her former colleagues in cabinet.

FIDA, this is not a domestic affair of men versus women! Karua has resigned because the PNU side, which has Executive Authority in the Grand Coalition, is anti-reform. How can Kibaki again appoint a woman or, to remove gender bias, a man, who can drive the reform agenda? Please FIDA, do not just talk! Zero! Karua and Mungatana are driven by the presidential ambition more than the need for genuine reforms. All along they have been on the non-reformist PNU side!! It is lack of tact that made her hands to be tied, now she has conceded to her opponents and the corrupt in Government are better off!! What will shouting from the streets and stadiums achieve? It is drama for nothing. Karua should have fought from within until she is sacked, then she would have had a better ground to attack! Fake!
