  • anyone know if these rear side curtian bags should deploy whether the car is on or off? Mine got hit by a DD at 4am, no occupants, rear curtians didn't go off, but I don't feel very good about that, what if we had just gotten in the car and hadn't had the chance to turn it on, or we were parked somewhere with the vehicle off? I have a two year old who would have been maimed or worse should he have been in the car.

  • I understand this is at 40mph but some other makes at the same speed are crushed up to nothing!! Some protection is better than none!

  • hahhah yea at 30mph is true it can save your life but in freeway front crash any brand any car or truck at 70mph your dead !!! donth get to exited all cars are the same this is only marketing

  • very safe!

  • also an iihs top safety pick

but the toyota rav4 and even ford escape are better than this in almost everything other than safety

  • very good!
