Project HOPE volunteer Mary Feury tells about her expereince working onboard the Comfort during a humanitarian and health education mission in Colon, Panama and Tumaco, Colombia in May and June of 2009.
Mary, from Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia is a registered nurse with 26 years of experience. While this is her first time volunteering for Project HOPE, she participated in Hurricane Katrina relief with the Red Cross, and worked on a medical mission in Honduras. She is working as a medical surgical nurse during Continuing Promise 2009.
