@Pandar00zle thats a harmonica mic, not a voice box. i think he has it running through the tremolo part of his silvertone amp. thats probably how he made that very distorted voice sound do that static stutter thing.

@Awgez24 i know, the greenhornes only get like 30 people at their shows. so sad. id see them if i could cuz they rock, but no one acknowledges jack lawrence even though he is an amazing bassist.

this is not a diss, but that didn't happen in memphis but atlanta. i was there. jack had to do some very interesting things because he was sick. he let others sing songs for him including the audience and used a cool voice box i'm assuming because it would hurt to hit some of those notes. very interesting and i love the dead weather! but i wish he'd get back with meg!

@Pandar00zle - They did this in several cities - Atlanta was one of them but Memphis was the first night they did this. This vid is definitely from Memphis not Atlanta, because I was there in Memphis holding my little camera.
