The first hymn that we sung, during the morning worship service. "Is It The Crowning Day." followed by At Calvary." The first one was fit as we held Prophecy month, there Pastor Lyons will be discussing things to come according to the Bible. An Old-Fashioned KJB Baptist preaching.
Is it The Crowning Day?
Words: Henry Ostrom, 1910. This song made its first public appearance at a conference of the Siebert United Evangelical Church, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Music: Charles H. Marsh
Jesus may come today
Glad day, glad day!
And I would see my Friend;
Dangers and troubles would end
If Jesus should come today.
Refrain
Glad day, glad day!
Is it the crowning day?
Ill live for today, nor anxious be;
Jesus, my Lord I soon shall see.
Glad day, glad day!
Is it the crowning day?
I may go home today
Glad day, glad day!
Seemeth I hear their song;
Hail to the radiant throng!
If I should go home today.
Refrain
Why should I anxious be?
Glad day, glad day!
Lights appear on the shore,
Storms will affright nevermore,
For He is at hand today.
Refrain
Faithful Ill be today,
Glad day, glad day!
And I will freely tell
Why I should love Him so well,
For He is my all today.
That was wonderful, brother!
The hymns have so much doctrine in them!
I don't understand why churches would want to get rid of them, unless those churches don't believe the King James Bible ... hmm ... that COULD be the reason!
Brother, I really love your choir!
It's so old-fashioned! :D
Just like it should be!

You're correct my dear sister. I really love the Old-Fashioned singing, Old-fashioned preaching and not the hand clappin jibber jabber NIV preaching, we'll stick to the old-fashioned way.
