Most Early pattern engines Beat them selves to death if run at any sort of RPM.
The trick is to use the double cam WPB Cylinder, And To build ina splash oiler to the Conectig rod, (simple Stainless steal scoop, fitted to the Rod bolts.) Also helps to fit A set of aftermarket Felt oilers to the Lifer cam and To the Valve set. (See Ebay Live Steam parts)
