Is it me, or have the borg been overused. Why won't Star Trek come up with any new threats like Species 8472, I'm tired of the borg.

Voyager definitely emasculated the Borg, and fandom has made it even worse. We had a standing rule that the Borg would not appear on Frontiers unless the story demanded it. As it happens, we found a pretty good one that is true to the original conception of the Borg, yet does something entirely new with them.
