On April 30th and May 1st 2011, the Washington Civil War Association reenacted the Civil War at Fort Steilacoom Park in Washington. A review of the reenactment is documented in this video.

  • Wow, my comment reads alot harsher than I meant it to. I apologize. I just wanted to give you a more accurate view on the matter.

  • I dont know where you got your information but there had been MANY changes to weaponry since our revolution. Here are some the important ones for small arms:

    Changed from flintlock to percussion

    Mass produced with Interechangeable Parts

    Changed from smoothbore to rifled bores which improved accuracy and dramatically increased range.

    Added proper sights for aiming.

    Breechloading small arms and even repeaters came into widespread use in the civil war.
