It's Idea Pad, not Ideal Pad

I never owned a Lenovo. How are they?

    I had:

A Dell Inspiron: An unstoppable juggernaut.

HP: A fire-hazard that burned out.

A Compaq: Similar to an HP (made by same company) but curiously outlasted.

I am a bit worried about no battery and such. Because they usually go after a few years....and for $1500....hmm...

    Good review.

And are we calling the internet "the cloud" now?

Not sure about others, but in my opinion, you really don't need a backlit keyboard. The only reason you would need a backlit keybeoard is if you can't touch type and you are in pitch black. People should just learn to type. (Actually, I use the Dvorak layout, so there would be no point looking unless you changed the layout on the physical keyboard-which I usually don't)
