I have a slight discomfort in the right shoulder when i raise my arm(shoulder flexion, adduction). I know the pain is coming from the joint in between the humerus and the acromion so it may be a shoulder impingement symdrome.. however it doesnt hurt when i'm not moving so i don't think its an inflammation. This happend from weight lifting and it's been bothering me for more than a week now. What can i do?

from experience, get a slightly larger, softer ball and lean on the ball agaist the wall. Roll it around and feel those knots go away!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy good! I've hurt for 4 months...been to chiro and masseuse. Nothing worked like a half hour with the tennis ball. I can move my arm through the full range of motion...still painful, but hopeful.
