I saw Frankie Valli on the third and final night (Sunday 10/11/09) of his sold out performance at Westbury Music Fair. What more can I say, he is a legend and still has a great voice at age 75! I would recommend going to see one of his shows, he is not to be missed! I had hoped that he would sing "Opus 17", but it was not included in the set. The comedian who opened the show was FUNNY and very entertaining.

After the show, I waited to see if I could get a chance to see Frankie closeup in person. Not sure if he was still there or not, a group of people gathered and patiently waited for a glimpse of him. Other band members gradually exited the building, and after one hour of waiting he appeared! Frankie stood in the cold and signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans. What a gentleman he was for taking the time to greet everyone who waited so long - Thanks Frankie!

The stage does rotate, I was there and filmed this! Look at the mic stands in line, and note how they change position while the camera remains fixed with people's heads in the same position.

I have seen him live a couple times recently, and people always sing along during the whole damn show. We had to turn around and tell one couple to shut the fuck up.

Of course. He is going on 80 years old... he can not possibly sing like he did in the 60's. I have recently analyzed some other videos of Frankie and came to the conclusion that he is most likely lip syncing, Some videos, like Rag Doll, sound exactly the same on every performance. And sometimes his lips don't sync up with the vocals. But I give him credit for preforming anyways at his age. God bless him.

It's also being performed in a much lower key than the original probably due to his age. It's still mostly him but you can bet the amplified sound is "sweetened" a little with a backing track.
