Her name was Katherine Helen Bamber, and she was actually 16 years old when she hung herself in her family's garage on March 31st 1992.
She left a note that read:
" I feel utterly desperate. I don't know what to do other than kill myself"

I do agree, but some of us are so vunerable that when pressure get more than you can take; people see no other ways than to "close" (But you should not use that d-word in this context) Good that you managed; you were lucky - or brave; not all are...respect them for that.

poor little girl..but to be honest..wht did they do that she killed herself? i couldnt find something to kill myself..no bullying could kill me..i just dont understand her..or was she so weak..?

I think - according to the BBC research also - that she was a very, very vulerable girl who just could not cope with so mutch tribulation to her soul....when pain is so big you feel nothing at all, as John Lennon put it, and he should know, he suffered a lot of pain throught his childhood, losing both his parents in very tormenting ways...
