Beautiful film with humanity at its core. My idol Mr Cameron, however cynical it is, has brought to life a planet which we can admire, which we can aspire to, first of all we need to wise up and realise the damage we are doing to our earth.

Cameron's and Avatar's critics ignore the deeper meaning as they cant get to the core of the film, but simple yet story with mind blowing special and visual effects.

When it said the academy missed the movie's deeper meaning and chose a real life film instead. What bullshet. Avatar deserved it big time! What if it isent fake...? HOLY CRAP WOULD I FLIP! Any yes Avatar showed the true meaning on what we should do to the earth. I mena like it hadent done anything to us now did it!? Well no. All those eath quakes and all that are because of us. We are causing prombelms that need to be fixed. Bacicly what i am saying is that we are killing our sleves.

I agree with this completely! If we don't change our ways then we can't save our world. It's going to be a tough challenge with all the rich and powerful wanting to keep control of their power, but once we, the people that feed them their power, unite together, I believe we can overcome our former madness and remove these controlling governments & what we have wrongly mistaken for a society.

Avatar to me is an astounding symbolic example of humanity and empathy (and of course a fantasy film) By example it has given me hope that others share an understanding of the root causes that drive many of our very real world issues but I also express frustration (look here in comments to understand) /watch?v=7nVI_oYXAKY thread under my user name yes its only one person but I warn you its a classic example of hate speach that is becoming all to common in todays world
