Dinosaur Planet is possibly the biggest N64 departure. Thought to be one of the last Nintendo 64 killer-apps, the Rare developed adventure was cancelled for N64 and moved to GameCube with some huge changes. Apart from the amazing graphical upgrades, Dinosaur Planet now stars characters from Nintendo's popular Star Fox franchise and has fittingly been redubbed Star Fox Adventures

Love stories don't fit in any game. That kind of crap needs to stay out of video games or, hell, even movies

I don't know...I LOOOVED Starfox adventures, but I think if this game would have made it - it probably would have been a classic all on its own.

@Eljonno ABSOLUTELY. Lots of people complain about its quality, stating things like "it's not as good as this or that other N64 game". Bullshit. I loved my N64 but the GC made me forget about it in a few months. I had not enjoyed a Rare game that much since Bajo Kazooie. Sadly enough, Nintendo did worng launching the GC in 2001-2002. I would have taken Perfect Dark, Majora's Mask and Dinosaur Planet together as "launch period" titles. Gc was loads better.

@Zeldanerd64 while you are correct in some ways, it would not have become has popular without the star fox branding and probably wouldn't be as well known. though with any luck the original version of this game will one day be playable to the fans that want to play it in this way.

This would have made an awesome n64 game. Not sure why they made this into a star fox game. It would have better off without becoming a star fox game

@PseudonymPlayer Whatever dude, StarFox Adventures was a great game. This on the other hand not so much, it looks like it would've been alright but ultimately I'm glad they moved it to the good 'ol GameCube.
