I wasn't aware that even countries were feminine/masculine, so thank you for expanding my knowledge of the world a little bit. I think a female!Italy would be super cute, though, like you, I am glad he is male in the series. I'm still giggling from the image of a female!Germany.

@alexandergifford well after all, in italian "Italia" is a female word, Italia can be used as a name for girls, and when we refer to our country we refer to it like it were(was? xD sorry bad english) a woman, we say "she""her" so for us, Italia has always been a female xD in fact I think Nyotalia is more accurate about the "gender" of our country, even if I'm glad she's a he for obvious reasons u.u for the records, even "Germania" is a female for us, while "Giappone" (japan) is a male O.o
