That dark object is known as a polar crown cavity. It's dark because it's cooler than the surrounding plasma.

"a polar crown cavity is a density depletion sitting above denser polar crown filament plasma drained down the cavity by gravity. As part of the polar crown filament, plasma at different temperatures (ranging from 50,000 K to 0.6 MK) is observed at the same location on the cavity dips and sustained by a competition between the gravity and the curvature of magnetic field lines."

Who said it's a live feed? Prove that. Did you pick it up on your TV? It has to be transferred from their servers. You're a moron and you don't even know how to use punctuation.

There are a lot of weird stuff that goes on with NASA. I've been studying since the early 70s. Ever heard of "moon domes"? Look it up.

This is not one of those things. This is a natural part of the Sun.

Too big. Look at the Venus transit videos to see how small Venus is compared to the Sun. Venus would look like a dot.

it would be as big as jupiter my enlightened friend welcome to the party of awakened beings. ahhhhhhhhhh finished screaming yet? good,, space you see is really big. compare a single celled organism a bacteria to a blue whale. same difference. now if someone had studied bacteria all their life and had never seen or heard of a blue whale except for some guy on the street shouting about it he/she would have a tough time wrapping their head around it. that thing fed for 3 days.

do not freak out. yes your right it was at least as big as jupiter. i would like to begin a correspondence with you. everything you noticed i noticed too. we shouldnt be worried though no more than we should be afraid of lightening or tidal waves. everytime nasa have a live space feed they cut it when stuff like this happens. the international space station had lots of external cameras with live feeds but they cut them over this stuff, look for nasa STS-75 teather incident and send me a message

exactly, it doesnt reflect light then again its there to feed so its probably evolved to be very efficient at it. that bastard hovered there for 3 days on a live feed so dont let lennonprincessmoonbuggy get you down. i would like to hear him explain away the tether incident and that 12mile diameter lifeform scooting by underneath. he would probably say it was a todpole floating in space in front of the lens. he is a disinfo monkey troll

Show me where they said that? You can find a NASA web page talking about the polar crown cavity. The rest of the event is a prominence. Anything that sticks off the surface of the Sun is a prominence.

You can find MANY photos of polar crown cavities at NASA.

Google "polar crown filament cavity" and see for yourself.

If this was something they didn't want you do see, they would not have released it. They do censor many images and withhold others. Think abut that.
