Nankin Mills in Westland, Michigan has served the community for more than 150 years as a grist mill, as one of Henry Ford's Village Industry auto plants, then as a nature center and finally as an interpretative center telling the natural and cultural history of western Wayne County area and Rouge River area. This video welcomes visitors to the center and provides a brief introduction to the mill and to the region. Nankin Mills is open Monday - Saturday at 33175 Ann Arbor Trail near Farmington Road in Westland, a city about 10 miles west of Detroit. The mill also serves as the headquarters for Wayne County Parks. Learn more at nankinmills.org
