Brushless Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin Testing

Sadly the road wasn't long enough to get at full speed, as 2 wheel drive means it's only got rear wheel braking!

If you don't know what the truck is, its a 1/12 scale Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin from the 1980's. The gears are all standard. The chassis has been hopped up but most of the standard bits are still there. The shell is hard plastic, not lexan.

It's got a Castle Sidewinder ESC and 5700 Kv motor :-)

it seems slower than I imagined ...I have a Lunchbox and two Sidewinders which I run in a Clod

It never gets to full speed in this video, as the road was wet and too short - so i couldn't slow it down fast enough without smacking a curb! Sidewinders in a clod sounds like a great setup!
