Orlando Brewing, Orlando's very own organic brewery, asked Eco Factory to film the Thrill the World event at their location on Saturday, October 24, 2009.
Organized and directed by Travis Smith and Patricia Martorana, the two invited dancers from around Orlando to join in. "Thrill the World is an annual worldwide simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller,'" Says Thrilltheworld.com, who helps to oversee the event each year. "Each event has the option to raise money for a local charity of their choice."
Offering 350 organic beers for the first 350 people that showed up at 3:50 PM, Eco Factory helped to kick off the event by getting people to help join in raising awareness about 350.org's mission.
Travis, Trish and the entire group agreed to include the number "350," a number representing the acceptable amount of CO2 in parts per million, that scientists agree the earth can sustain (currently we are at roughly 390 ppm).
