You know, I like this video, but I fucking HATE Jim Sterling. For every smart thing he says like in this video, he says four downright retarded, childish, and extremely biased things, then calls whoever disagrees with him idiots.

I agree with MOST of what he says, but I feel he is being a little childish, I could play a game, and just insult it, and not Try to play it, and consider it might be good. So basically you should know how to "play a game properly," and willing to actually consider if its good, not just insult it.

@Attila226 I agree. I remember a friend of mine traded Fallout 3 in immediately after completing the story and said it was complete shit. He didn't touch on half the gameworld having done nothing but trawled through the appauling story in a couple of sessions and missed the point. While in many cases it is on the developer to indicate how you're supposed to approach a game, they should also be able to rely on conventions that some people, like my friend, will simply not understand.
