@zappbrannigan420 Please don't assume that I know nothing about Japanese language or culture. I have studied both. Don't insult me by telling me what Japanese people call themselves. And as far as the G&S ignorance of the culture, of COURSE they were. They were from Victorian England. The world was a different place back then. But The Mikado only uses Japan as a backdrop....the real story is a satire of Victorian society.
