You simply step back to life 120 years ago. Gathering food becomes your biggest activity of the day. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

shops would not close down of course fresh produce would have a shorter shelf life but then we would have to buy meat from farmers and keep it in the pantree,groseries would dtill be around but a lot more expensive as everything thing would have to be hand made and packaged differantly because obviosly we wouldnt have th machinery to make tins or plastic so wooden pots warmth well we would have to layer up. and cinemas would turn to theatres which we would go to for entertainment

No electricity = no Tv, no internet, no fridge, no light, no healing, no car, no transportation, no information, no phone, no water in each flat, no more medics, no money, as you need to access to your electronic account !!
More scarying than that ?? Some people might survive, but only the strongest ones. And the smartest ones. But old people, babies will have a very hard time. Criminality will explode : every one will have to fight for his life !!!

Sadly it would be the latter; "sadly" because as a teenager I read all those awful survivalist books etc...
But being abroad I've had week long black outs (nee Brown outs) so life continues as normal.
