1993 S-10 idle

This is my 1993 S-10 at idle. It has a 2.8 litre V6 engine with stock manifolds and Y pipe thru a 2.5 inch single exhaust, Flowmaster muffler and Catco converter.

2.8's are not that bad of an engine. Yeah they're not powerhouses by any means but the later built ones like mine are pretty sturdy; mine's got 186k on it and still runs like a top and yet has never been apart; all I do is keep the oil changed, keep her tuned up but man if I don't dog the crap out of it.

As for the bumper, not sure....it might have something to do with someone who rear ended me once; it pushed in the left rear side of the bumper. We pulled it back out though.

@allampedup88 2.8 is a great engine - not fast. but reliable. at least the one in my 93 s10 is!
