The lyrics to this song are very weirdly suggestive. Poignant, but suggestive as hell. Which comes as really odd because "suggestive" is the LAST word to describe this show. I can list all the fanservicey moments in the whole series in this comment: the hot springs scene where Kanon was being groped off-screen, one character in Right of Left having a chest-quake by moving a little, and a bit more of that for Kanon and Tsubaki's friend in the movie. And that's it. So...yeah.

Slow song but Realistic!

If you can stomach serious anime (not many smiles or laughs in it) then it's definitely a good watch in my opinion. It's very reminiscent of Evangelion-- just without so many emotionally flippant characters and with a less inexplicable plot. LESS inexplicable-- there's still a few grey zones by the end, but not any that really detract from anything. (Not that I find Evangelion guilty of that)

Did anyone else besides me give this song to Shinn?

As usual, the SRW instrumental is 5x better than the actual theme. I'm really liking the feel of this song; it's kind of making me want to watch the anime.
Not a bad version of Shangri-la, considering it's the first time it's made for SRW, especially on DS. Yet, I think that the best instrumental is the TheScreamer's violin one, totally worth it.
