Congressman Tim Scott of South Carolina visited his neighboring state to the North to give an entertaining talk on the final evening of the North Carolina Republican Party convention. This is one man that we must re-elect. Representing the Myrtle Beach and Charleston areas, he understands coastal issues that coastal residents like your blogger do. He spoke about labor relations and Obama, the need to be strong and win in 2012, and kept it light along the way.

Peppered with political and other jokes, it's clear that Congressman Scott was born for leadership. He knows how to give a talk, and it's clear that he knows when to sit down.

Sadly, this blogger didn't get the camera running soon enough, and missed the first six or seven minutes of the speech. Thank you, Congressman Scott, for visiting the Ole' North State, and gracing our GOP convention.

Tim Scott is a sweet, gentle, strong man with a beautiful message. He takes on his political enemy with grace, reason, intelligence and argument. He appeals not to the mob but to the good in all individuals that just happens to be impossible to disern differences in one person to the next. And there are millions of Americans like that. I'm one of them. God bless all with peace, prosperity, and an agreed upon justice for all Americans. May we all be united under a man like Tim.
