A run across the Buttertubs in my 1973 Porsche 911 2.4S. I actually prefer to drive this route the other way, but the views are fantastic going the direction I am in the video. What the video does not show is the 'bumpyness' of the road.

edit: in this footage the engine was quite a bit down on power. Lots of work + rolling road session has sorted it out :)

  • Great video! The 2.4s is definitely my favourite Porsche, nice views too! It sounds a little hoarse but seems to be going well?

  • the rear exhaust had blown all its baffles & the chain tensioners & cam chains needed replacing !! . Car is soooo much better now :)

  • bellissima auto!grazie!

  • Just need Matt Monroe singing 'On days like these'!!!!

  • What a great video?!?!? Nice soundtrack! Great road for drivers or bikers. Go the extra distance over to Tan Hill (not far) for a great Yorkshire Pud and a drink. Great place for a break. Do it quite regular.

  • 2400/S 190 hp - one of the best engines ever -bursting power and reliability, high revving and smooth enough for city driving - a masterpiece = if 1973 prod.your 2400/s could be the last step with a 197 bhp engine fitted with the 2,7 Carrera inject.pump-

    Owned 2,2 S & 2,4 S in no speed limits years!

    Best wishes =

  • This is how all races should be shown
