This is my entertainment programming final project completed in December 2008 at Northern Michigan University. The following special effects gear was used:
2 - Elipscan Pro's
2 - Apollo Smartcolor Color Scrollers
2 - Diversetronics Lighting Strobes
1 - Lematire G300 Fogger/Hazer
1 - Custom Gobo
Rep plot focus with ETC Source 4's on pigeon plates
The show was programmed on an ETC Expression 3, and the playback was done on a Allen & Heath GL4800. The music was edited with Adobe Audition. Unfortunately, this is the only video available of the show. The show was shot by one of the theatre professors with a lower end camera...because I did not think to film it. I had a very limited availability in terms of lighting gear I wanted to use, and I feel like I did an OK job of keeping the typical audience member's attention for the required minimum time of three minutes.
I created a custom gobo with a robot face that was projected onto the mannequin stage center, and I am extremely disappointed that it never showed up in this video...but everyone who was there and saw it loved it!
Grade - A
I've designed shows for port-o-johns that looked better than this abortion. And yes i've done Huey Lewis 6 times and he was much better, and that's not saying much.

@lightguy79 Wow man...for what need do you have to be a giant prick? I mean yeah I can take criticism and everything, but what about my design made your butt hurt so much to take the time to call this an 'abortion'? Seriously? If you didn't like what you saw, that's fine, cool...ignore what I've done. Oh, and at least I have the balls to stick my neck out a little bit by putting this 'show' out on the internet for all to see and check out. There are better things out there to get pissy about

@gmsbandmember
"Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits and "Mr. Roboto" by Styx were cut together to make the music.
And the sh** part...I was hoping no one would hear it! What happened was that the two Elipscan's had color and patterns in them that were not supposed to be there (There were multiple people using the same fixtures), but it worked out in the end and I didn't think that it looked OK
