As if it wasn't exciting enough, this year's Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge is getting more and more interesting each day! At the start of this competition season we had three teams competing... and now we have four: Armadillo Aerospace, Masten Space Systems, Unreasonable Rocket and the newcomer Bon Nova.

  • Question.  I heard somewhere that the force required for these rockets to complete the competitions is the same as it would take to land/launch on the moon. I'm having a hard time with the physics, could someone verify/clarify?

    Amazing what these guys and others like them are doing to advance technology. And no one even knows about it. Hats off to you.
