Yup, here it is, 5 hours of rendering and one hell of a long array test

  • I hate this video, it's just a boring array test with only 2 empties, I really should delete it...

  • Wow, very nice. I just started using blender a few days ago(ive had it for over a month but tried it out and had no idea what i was doing so i stopped and just picked it up in the past week I have no idea how you did that, but if it only took your computer 5 hours it must be a lot better than mine.

  • Well, it was pretty simple, just used the array modifier, there's plenty of tuts out there, besides, I turned of nearly everything in this render, raytracing, shadow, ambient occusion, everything was off, and that brought the rendertime right down, I did have vector blur on (blurs fast moving objects, part of the node things) only about 3-4 seconds per frame, but there's 5000 of them!
